Radiation pressure and pulsation effects on the Roche lobe
Several observational pieces of evidence indicate that specific evolutionary channels which involve Roche lobe overflow are not correctly accounted for by the classical Roche model. We generalize the concept of Roche lobe in the presence of extra forces (

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

Frontal Lobe and Psychopathy [PDF]
This research paper presents an analysis of the functions of the frontal lobe and how damage to the frontal lobe correlates to psychopathy. Initially, it will look at how damage to the frontal lobe obstructs frontal lobe functions.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Center to limb variation of penumbral Stokes V profiles [PDF]
We investigated the horizontal and the vertical component of the Evershed flow (EF). To this end, we computed average Stokes V profiles for various velocity classes in penumbrae at different heliocentric angles.

Molecular determinants of signal transduction in tropomyosin receptor kinases
Tropomyosin receptor kinases control critical neuronal functions, but how do the same receptors produce diverse cellular responses? This review explores the structural mechanisms behind Trk signaling diversity, focusing on allosteric modulation and ligand bias.

Design and development of an emulated human cognition using novel 3D neural networks [PDF]
This paper describes the development of an Emulated Human Cognition (EHC) which is designed and based on a replicated human brain with a right- and a left- hand lobe, one a deductive side and the other a generic one.

NR4A1 Exerts Pro‐Tumor Role in Glioblastoma via Inducing xCT/GPX4‐Regulated Ferroptosis
ABSTRACT Purpose This study investigates NR4A1's paradoxical roles in glioblastoma (GBM) progression, focusing on its mechanistic link to ferroptosis regulation. We aimed to resolve conflicting reports of NR4A1 as both an oncogene and a tumor suppressor by defining its transcriptional control over xCT/GPX4‐mediated iron homeostasis and its clinical ...

ABSTRACT Objective Cognitive impairment, fatigue, and depression are common in multiple sclerosis (MS), potentially due to disruption of regional functional connectivity caused by white matter (WM) lesions. We explored whether WM lesions functionally connected to specific brain regions contribute to these MS‐related manifestations.
