The dualizing complex of F-injective and Du Bois singularities
, 2015Let $$(R,\mathfrak {m}, k)$$(R,m,k) be an excellent local ring of equal characteristic. Let j be a positive integer such that $$H_\mathfrak {m}^i(R)$$Hmi(R) has finite length for every $$0\le i 0$$p>0 or Du Bois in characteristic 0, then the truncated ...

Local wild mapping class groups and cabled braids
Annales de l'Institut Fourier, 2022We define and study some generalisations of pure 𝔤 -braid groups, for any complex reductive Lie algebra 𝔤 . They naturally occur in the theory of isomonodromic deformations for meromorphic connections with irregular singularities on ...

LOCALLY SEMIUNIVERSAL FLAT DEFORMATIONS OF ISOLATED SINGULARITIES OF COMPLEX SPACES
Mathematics of the USSR-Izvestiya, 1969In this study we construct the minimal locally semiuniversal deformation of a normal isolated singularity x0 X0 for which Ext²O(X0)(Ω(X0), O(X0))x0 = 0, where Ω(X0) is the sheaf of germs of one-dimensional holomorphic forms in the complex space (X0, O(X0)).

Globally subanalytic CMC surfaces in ℝ3 with singularities
Proceedings of the Royal Society of Edinburgh: Section A Mathematics, 2020In this paper we present a classification of a class of globally subanalytic CMC surfaces in ℝ3 that generalizes the recent classification made by Barbosa and do Carmo in 2016.

Simultaneous local normal forms of dynamical systems with singular underlying geometric structures
NonlinearityThe aim of this paper is to develop, for the first time, a general theory of simultaneous local normalisation of couples (X,G), where X is a dynamical system (vector field) and G is an underlying geometric structure preserved by X, even if both have ...

The Journal of Singularities
We construct some version of the trace morphism between the Du Bois complexes, with applications towards the behavior of the local cohomological dimension and some Hodge theoretic aspects of singularities under finite morphisms.

A new method for localization of epileptic seizure onset zones (SOZs) is proposed, which uses the Shannon-entropy-based complex Morlet wavelet transform to extract a satisfactory time-frequency feature of high-frequency oscillations (HFOs). The singular value decomposition and the K-medoids clustering algorithm are employed to extract effective ...

A Quick Trip into Local Singularities of Complex Curves and Surfaces
2020In these notes we give a summary of some of the properties of curve and surface singularities needed in the study of Lipschitz geometry of singular varieties. In particular, we describe normalization and resolution processes, and we introduce the concepts of polar curves and exceptional tangents for surfaces.
