We examined the ability of a patient, who had a cerebral lesion involving the left posterior hemisphere, to identify and to localize stimuli applied to her "deafferented" right upper limb. We observed a functional dissociation between localization and identification in both performance and subjective report.

Geo-localized content availability in VANETs
Ad Hoc Networks, 2016Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) are emerging as a very useful tool for gathering, processing, and providing data to vehicles and passengers. It is expected that vehicles equipped with a variety of sensors will play a determining role in Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) and Smart City applications.

Content locality in distributed digital libraries
Information Processing & Management, 1999In this paper we introduce the notion of content locality in distributed document collections. Content locality is the degree to which content-similar documents are colocated in a distributed collection. We propose two metrics for measurement of content locality, one based on topic signatures and the other based on collection statistics.

Content Localization for Non-overlay Content-Aware Networks
2011Content addressing and localization are the basic issues in design of content-aware networks (CAN). The paper summarizes assumptions for content-aware networks and presents content localization algorithm for PI-CAN, developed within FIE (Future Internet Engineering) project.

There are diverse opinions in literature on the meaning of the term ‘content’ going by the different definitions encountered in the course of writing this book. The lack of unanimity on what constitutes ‘content’ suggests that the definition of ‘local content’ is most certainly not cast in stone.

Conscious olfaction: Content, function, and localization
Behavioral and Brain Sciences, 2016AbstractThe target article's emphasis on olfaction is a welcome reminder of the multimodal nature of conscious experience. Here, I explore the distinctive and even unique attributes of our sense of smell from the point of view of their bearing on and fit with a subcortical locus of sensory experience.
