Post‐COVID Fatigue Is Associated With Reduced Cortical Thickness After Hospitalization
Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Objective
Neuropsychiatric symptoms are among the most prevalent sequelae of COVID‐19, particularly among hospitalized patients. Recent research has identified volumetric brain changes associated with COVID‐19. However, it currently remains poorly understood how brain changes relate to post‐COVID fatigue and cognitive deficits.Tim J. Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Objective
Myotonic dystrophy type 2 (proximal myotonic myopathy, PROMM) is a progressive multisystem disorder with muscular symptoms (proximal weakness, pain, myotonia) and systemic manifestations such as diabetes mellitus, cataracts, and cardiac arrhythmias.Alexander Gussew, Maryam Kargaran, Maik Rothe, Andreas Deistung, Dietrich Stoevesandt, Walter A. Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Objective
Patients with minor stroke exhibit slowed processing speed and generalized alterations in functional connectivity involving frontoparietal cortex (FPC). The pattern of connectivity evolves over time. In this study, we examine the relationship of functional connectivity patterns to cognitive performance, to determine ...Vrishab Commuri, Isabella Dallasta, Ciaran Stone, Sophia Girgenti, Neda Gould, Rafael H. Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Objective
People with epilepsy (PWE) may experience cognitive deficits but fail to undergo formal evaluation. This study compares cognitive status between PWE and healthy controls in the West African Republic of Guinea. Methods
A cross‐sectional, case–control study was conducted in sequential recruitment phases (July 2024–July 2025) at Ignace ...Maya L. Mastick, Cheick O. Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Objective
Abnormalities on peri‐ictal diffusion‐weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DWI‐PMAs) are well‐established for patients with status epilepticus (SE), but knowledge on patterns of DWI‐PMAs and their prognostic impact is sparse. Methods

Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Objective
Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.Marcus Grobe‐Einsler, Vivian Maas, Arian Taheri Amin, Jennifer Faber, Tamara Schaprian, Katharina Hill, Matthis Synofzik, Lisa H.
