Local derivatives of functions of several variables having values in a fixed Banach space are considered. Local derivatives of functions of one real variable with values in a Banach space were considered by \textit{J. Mikusiński} [in ''The Bochner Integral'', (1978; Zbl 0369.28010)], and earlier, in a Hilbert space by \textit{K. Skórnik} [in ''The form

Covariant Derivative of Fermions and All That
We present detailed pedagogical derivation of covariant derivative of fermions and some related expressions, including commutator of covariant derivatives and energy-momentum tensor of a free Dirac field.

We prove that in a ring $R$ with an identity there exists an element $a\in R$ and a nonzero derivation $d\in Der R$ such that $ad(a)\neq 0$. A ring $R$ is said to be a $d$-rigid ring for some derivation $d \in Der R$ if $d(a)=0$ or $ad(a)\neq 0$ for all

Local BCJ numerators for ten-dimensional SYM at one loop
We obtain local numerators satisfying the BCJ color-kinematics duality at one loop for super-Yang-Mills theory in ten dimensions. This is done explicitly for six points via the field-theory limit of the genus-one open superstring correlators for ...

Local linear scale factors in map projections in the direction of coordinate axes
This paper explains that the terms “horizontal and vertical scales” are not appropriate in map projections theory. Instead, the authors suggest using the term “scales in the direction of coordinate axes.” Since it is not possible to read a local linear ...

Derivations, local and 2-local derivations of standard operator algebras
Let X be a Banach space over field F (R or C). Denote by B(X) the set of all bounded linear operators on X and by F(X) the set of all finite rank operators on X. A subalgebra A of B(X) is called a standard operator algebra if A contain F(X). We give a brief proof of a well-known result that every derivation from A into B(X) is inner.

Derivation of a fourth-order Co-simulation method for linear systems
In this article, we present a detailed derivation of a fourth order co-simulation method. This method is implicit and based on Hermite extrapolation with two support points and their derivatives.

LOCAL DERIVATIONS ON ALGEBRAS OF MEASURABLE OPERATORS [PDF]
The paper is devoted to local derivations on the algebra [Formula: see text] of τ-measurable operators affiliated with a von Neumann algebra [Formula: see text] and a faithful normal semi-finite trace τ. We prove that every local derivation on [Formula: see text] which is continuous in the measure topology, is in fact a derivation.

Polarization in heavy ion collisions: A theoretical review [PDF]
In these proceedings I discuss the recent progress in the theory of spin polarization in relativistic fluids. To date, a number of studies have begun to examine the impact of the shear tensor on the local spin polarization and whether this contribution ...

Locally Nilpotent Monomial Derivations [PDF]
Summary: We prove that every locally nilpotent monomial \(k\)-derivation of \(k[X_1,\ldots ,X_n]\) is triangular, whenever \(k\) is a ring of characteristic zero. A method of testing monomial \(k\)-derivations for local nilpotency is also presented.
