Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Matched spatial transcriptomics and single‐nuclei RNA‐seq were generated for anaplastic and BRAFV600E papillary thyroid cancers revealing generic and tumor‐specific states occurring in cancer cells and in the tumor microenvironment. In this context, cancer dedifferentiation mirrored organoid maturation through ordered thyroid marker gain/loss ...

Existence and non-existence of solutions for Hardy parabolic equations with singular initial data
We establish the existence, non-existence and uniqueness of the local solutions of the Hardy parabolic equation $u_t - \Delta u = h(t)|\cdot |^{-\gamma}g(u)$ on $\Omega \times (0,T) $ with Dirichlet boundary conditions.

Circulating microRNAs as biomarkers of cachexia and sex‐specific cancer in senior dogs. In 25 client‐owned dogs, four circulating miRNAs (miR‐15a, miR‐15b, miR‐16, miR‐140) were downregulated in cachexia, with miR‐16 the strongest individual biomarker (AUC = 0.899).

Existence of financial equilibria with restricted participation [PDF]
We consider a two-date model of a financial exchange economy with finitely many agents having nonordered preferences and portfolio constraints. There is a market for physical commodities at any state today or tomorrow and financial transfers across time ...

Local existence and uniqueness for a semilinear accretive wave equation
International audienceWe study local existence and uniqueness in the phase space Hμ×Hμ−1(RN) of the solution of the semilinear wave equation utt−Δu=ut|ut|p−1 for p ...

Cancer‐associated mutations in endometriosis reframe a benign disease through molecular oncology
This review aims to comprehensively analyse cancer‐associated somatic mutations (CAMs) present in endometriotic lesions, emphasizing their biological roles, spatial distribution and implications for translational applications in medicine. By contextualizing a benign state within a genomic framework, this analysis seeks to establish its value as a ...

Detecting circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in blood before surgery may help predict outcomes in patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). Here, we show when combined with tumor size and lymph node involvement from routine imaging, CTC status identifies high‐risk patients with poorer survival—offering a simple, minimally invasive tool ...

Existence and local attractivity results for a nonlinear functional integral equation
In this paper, we prove the existence and local attractivity results for a nonlinear functional integral equation. The equation is considered in the Banach space of real valued functions that are continuous and bounded on R + $\mathbb{R}_{+}$ .

This study integrates publicly available transcriptomic datasets to identify molecular signatures associated with response to neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy in locally advanced rectal cancer. By analyzing a combination of multiple cohorts with bioinformatics approaches, we reveal biological pathways and immune‐related features that may improve ...
