Missing RRI interpolation for HRV analysis using locally-weighted partial least squares regression
2016 38th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBC), 2016The R-R interval (RRI) fluctuation in electrocardiogram (ECG) is called heart rate variability (HRV). Since HRV reflects autonomic nervous function, HRV-based health monitoring services, such as stress estimation, drowsy driving detection, and epileptic seizure prediction, have been proposed.

The main propose of this investigation is to develop an interpolating meshless numerical procedure for solving the stochastic parabolic interface problems. The present numerical algorithm is constructed from the interpolating moving least squares (ISMLS) approximation.

The local interpolating moving least-squares (IMLS) method for constructing potential energy surfaces is investigated. The method retains the advantageous features of the IMLS approach in that the ab initio derivatives are not required and high degree polynomials can be used to provide accurate fits, while at the same time it is much more efficient ...

Fitting potential energy surfaces to analytic forms is an important first step for efficient molecular dynamics simulations. Here, we present an improved version of the local interpolating moving least squares method (L-IMLS) for such fitting. Our method has three key improvements.

GNSS surveying methods are more preferred than terrestrial measuring methods thanks to recent technological developments in mapping activities. The height information obtained by GNSS measurements is the elipsoidal height. However, orthometric heights are needed to be able to physically describe a point on the ground.

The Local Geoid Determination Using Least Square Collocation and Kriging Interpolation Methods
2018The local geoid determination applications increased last year depending on satellite technologies in geodesy. Geoid undulation (N), obtained from ellipsoidal height (h) to orthometric height (H) is required for many geodetic and surveying applications.
