An Improved Approach of Classical Upper Bound Theory for Stability Analysis of Layered Slopes
The equations for the critical height of layered slope were derived by a related researcher, but they lack details and do not agree with the method of limit equilibrium. So this topic was reinvestigated.

Random walks in Euclidean space
Consider a sequence of independent random isometries of Euclidean space with a previously fixed probability law. Apply these isometries successively to the origin and consider the sequence of random points that we obtain this way.

The graviton four-point function in de Sitter space
We compute the tree-level late-time graviton four-point correlation function, and the related quartic wavefunction coefficient, for Einstein gravity in de Sitter spacetime.

Local limit theorems for occupancy models
We present a rather general method for proving local limit theorems, with a good rate of convergence, for sums of dependent random variables. The method is applicable when a Stein coupling can be exhibited. Our approach involves both Stein's method for distributional approximation and Stein's method for concentration.

A bivariate local limit theorem
A random 2-vector in \(X\subset\mathbb{R}^{(2)}\) is said to have a stable distribution if there exist a sequence of i.i.d. vectors \(Y_ n=(Y_ n^{(1)},Y_ n^{(2)})\) and associated 2-vector sequences \(\{b_ n\}\), and \(\{a_ n\}\) with \(b_ n=\{b_ n^{(1)},b_ n^{(2)}\}\), \(a_ n=\{a_ n^{(1)},a_ n^{(2)}\}\), \(a_ n^{(i)}>0\), \(i=1,2\), with \(\{S_ n^{(1)}

A Kondo impurity in a disordered metal: Anderson's theorem revisited
We consider a local moment which is coupled by a non-random Kondo $J$ to a band of conduction electrons in a random potential. We prove an analog of Anderson's theorem in a large-N limit of this model.

Alternative sampling for variational quantum Monte Carlo
Expectation values of physical quantities may accurately be obtained by the evaluation of integrals within Many-Body Quantum mechanics, and these multi-dimensional integrals may be estimated using Monte Carlo methods.
