Conditions are given which imply that the partial sums of a sequence of independent integer-valued random variables, suitably normalized, converge in distribution to a stable law of exponent $\alpha, 0 < \alpha < 2$, and imply as well that a strong version of the corresponding local limit theorem holds.

Multimodal Data‐Driven Microstructure Characterization
A self‐consistent autonomous workflow for EBSP‐based microstructure segmentation by integrating PCA, GMM clustering, and cNMF with information‐theoretic parameter selection, requiring no user input. An optimal ROI size related to characteristic grain size is identified.

Graviton trispectrum from gluons
The tree-level wavefunction coefficient for four gravitons in de Sitter space was recently bootstrapped using the Cosmological Optical Theorem, flat space limit, and Manifestly Local Test [1].

Local limit theorem in deterministic systems [PDF]
We show that for every ergodic and aperiodic probability preserving system, there exists a $\mathbb{Z}$ valued, square integrable function $f$ such that the partial sums process of the time series $\left\{f\circ T^i\right\}_{i=0}^\infty$ satisfies the ...

Local asymptotics for the area under the random walk excursion [PDF]
We study tail behaviour of the distribution of the area under the positive excursion of a random walk which has negative drift and light-tailed increments.

Strong Large Deviation and Local Limit Theorems [PDF]
Let \(\{Y_ n, n \geq 1\}\) be a sequence of random variables which converge weakly to a random variable \(Y\). The pseudodensity function of \(Y_ n\) is defined by \(q_ n(y;b_ n,S)= {b_ n \over \mu(S)}P(b_ n(Y_ n-y) \in S)\), where \(b_ n \to \infty\), \(\mu\) is the Lebesgue measure on \(R\) and \(S\) is a measurable subset of \(R\) such that ...

Analyzing Electronic Excitations and Exciton Binding Energies in Y6 Films
The Y6 molecule is used for increasing the efficiency of organic solar cells. The exciton binding energy is calculated for ensembles of Y6 molecules that are representative of the typically used films. The calculations show that the excitons typically spread out over many molecules.

Limit Cycles of Lorenz System with Hopf Bifurcation [PDF]
We prove that near the bifurcation point unstable limit cycle arises from the Lorenz system. In the analysis, we use the method of local bifurcation theory, especially the center manifold and the normal form theorem. A computer algebra system using Maple

Local Central Limit Theorem for diffusions in a degenerate and unbounded Random Medium [PDF]
We study a symmetric diffusion $X$ on $\mathbb{R}^d$ in divergence form in a stationary and ergodic environment, with measurable unbounded and degenerate coefficients.

Stacking‐Engineered Magnonic Topology and Transport in Honeycomb Homobilayers
ABSTRACT Topological magnons have emerged as a promising platform for dissipationless bosonic transport. However, a straightforward and effective strategy to engineer such topological states in real materials has yet to be fully realized. Here, a general scheme for controlling magnonic topological states via stacking engineering in van der Waals ...
