MODIFIED HILL CLIMBING MAXIMUM POWER POINT TRACKING CONTROL METHOD FOR SATELLITE ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM

open access: yesАвіаційно-космічна техніка та технологія, 2017
The increasing of  efficiency of the satellite electrical power supply system (PSS) is important engineering task. Modern satellite PSS widely use DC-DC converters under pulse-width controlling.

Multi-Peak Photovoltaic Maximum Power Point Tracking Method Based on Honey Badger Algorithm Under Localized Shading Conditions

open access: yesEnergies
The P-V and I-V curves of photovoltaic (PV) strings show multiple peaks when exposed to partial shading conditions (PSCs). The traditional maximum power point tracking (MPPT) method cannot track the global maximum power point (GMPP) due to the multi-peak characteristics, power fluctuation, and tracking speed.

Finite-Range Gravity and Its Role in Gravitational Waves, Black Holes and Cosmology [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Theoretical considerations of fundamental physics, as well as certain cosmological observations, persistently point out to permissibility, and maybe necessity, of macroscopic modifications of the Einstein general relativity.

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Maximum Power Exploitation of Photovoltaic System under Fast-Varying Solar Irradiation and Local Shading

open access: yesInternational Journal of Photoenergy, 2022
The photovoltaic (PV) model commonly used in engineering has difficulty in accurately predicting the actual power generation. In this study, a PV model commonly used in engineering was used to establish a PV simulation model and improve it based on ...

The second act of hydro: small perturbations

open access: yes, 2011
Hydrodynamical description of the "Little Bang" in heavy ion collisions is surprisingly successful: here we systematically study propagation of small perturbations %, also treated hydrodynamically.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.
