A hybrid RANS‐LES turbulence model adapted for the Moving Particle Semi‐implicit method is employed to investigate a turbulent free surface flow. A method based on the cell‐linked list is proposed to speed up the nearest wall search for the turbulence model.

Moving Finite Element Method-a Local Meshless Formulation
A novel discretization method is proposed and developed for numerical solution of boundary value problems governed by partial differential equations. In contrast to the standard Finite Element Method (FEM), the analyzed domain is not covered by a mesh of fixed non-overlapping finite elements, but only a net of nodes is used for discretization.
