Multipliers on Locally Symmetric Spaces
The Journal of Geometric Analysis, 2012In this work the authors study the properties of multipliers on a class of locally symmetric spaces. An analogue of the Hörmander-Mikhlin multiplier theorem is proved and some results obtained in the authors' previous work [Math. Ann. 343, No. 3, 639--667 (2009; Zbl 1189.42006)] are improved.

Local job multipliers revisited
Journal of Regional Science, 2021AbstractThere has been a recent surge in papers estimating local multiplier effects. However, existing studies rely on arbitrary periods of observation, limit samples to more populous regions, and commonly use relatively aggregated industrial categories. When we address these and other methodological issues, we find that, in the United States, each new

Local employment multipliers in U.S. cities [PDF]
In this article, I show that within a U.S. city there is a significant effect of a permanent shock to employment in the tradable sector on employment in the non-tradable sector. I find that each additional job in the tradable sector will result in between 1.6 and 1.7 new jobs in the non-tradable sector.
