Bio‐Orthogonally Crosslinked Supramolecular Polymer Bottlebrush Hydrogels for Long‐Term 3D Cell Culture

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Fibrous benzenetrispeptide (BTP) hydrogels, fabricated via strain‐promoted azide‐alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) crosslinking, form robust, bioinert networks. These hydrogels can support 3D cell culture, where cell viability and colony growth depend on the fiber content.

Adaptive threshold based outlier detection on IoT sensor data: A node-level perspective

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal
The accuracy and reliability of IoT-based sensor networks depend on validating sensed data, including detecting outliers at the node level. This study proposes an online outlier detection approach using Multiple Linear Regression-based adaptive ...

Predicting Atomic Charges in MOFs by Topological Charge Equilibration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An atomic charge prediction method is presented that is able to accurately reproduce ab‐initio‐derived reference charges for a large number of metal–organic frameworks. Based on a topological charge equilibration scheme, static charges that fulfill overall neutrality are quickly generated.

Controlling 3D Contractility via Engineered Fibrous Hydrogel Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A tunable composite contractile assembly (CCA) is developed that can permit or resist contraction without changing cell‐adhesion and density, unlike collagen whose inherent coupling of these ECM cues limits its use as a platform in contractility studies.

Outlier Ensemble Based on Isolation Forest: The CBOEA Approach

open access: yesFoundations of Computing and Decision Sciences
Outliers are instances that deviate from the norm. In certain fields, their detection is crucial since they are often indicators of interesting events such as system faults and deliberate human actions.

Universal Electronic‐Structure Relationship Governing Intrinsic Magnetic Properties in Permanent Magnets

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Permanent magnets derive their extraordinary strength from deep, universal electronic‐structure principles that control magnetization, anisotropy, and intrinsic performance. This work uncovers those governing rules, examines modern modeling and AI‐driven discovery methods, identifies critical bottlenecks, and reveals electronic fingerprints shared ...

Application of Local Outlier Factor Algorithm to Detect Anomalies in Computer Network

open access: yesElektronika ir Elektrotechnika, 2018
Gap between the new attack appearance and signature creation for this attack may be critical. During this time, many computer systems may be affected and valuable resources may be lost. Even after signature creation, many computer systems still stay vulnerable because of bad security practice, i.e.

Conductance‐Dependent Photoresponse in a Dynamic SrTiO3 Memristor for Biorealistic Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A nanoscale SrTiO3 memristor is shown to exhibit dynamic synaptic behavior through the interaction of local electrical and global optical signals. Its photoresponse depends quantitatively on the conductance state, which evolves and decays over tunable timescales, enabling ultralow‐power, biorealistic learning mechanisms for advanced in‐memory and ...

Detection of Impedance Inhomogeneity in Lithium-Ion Battery Packs Based on Local Outlier Factor

open access: yesEnergies
The inhomogeneity between cells is the main cause of failure and thermal runaway in Lithium-ion battery packs. Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) is a non-destructive testing technique that can map the complex reaction processes inside the ...
