Cocycles and Local Product Decomposition [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1983
As an application of cocycles, we establish a relation between the classical Hardy spaces on the real line R R and simply invariant subspaces on a quotient of the Bohr group. When this result is specialized suitably, it yields the well-known results concerning the elements of invariant subspaces.

Why and When Are Evidence‐Based Interventions Adopted in Paediatric Supportive Care? A Qualitative Exploration of the Determinants of Photobiomodulation Implementation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Oral mucositis is a common and debilitating side effect of childhood cancer and stem cell transplant treatments. It affects the quality of life of children and young people (CYP) and places a strain on services. Local transversely product singularities [PDF]

open access: yesAnnales Henri Lebesgue, 2021
In the main result of this paper we prove that a codimension one foliation of ℙ n , which is locally a product near every point of some codimension two component of the singular set, has a Kupka component. In particular, we obtain a generalization of a known result of Calvo Andrade and Brunella about foliations with a Kupka component.

Electrifying enzymatic bioproduction

open access: yes, 2020
A microbial battery couples waste degradation to a specific enzymatic production process. This is enabled by the uncoupling of the waste oxidation process from the enzymatic bioproduction via redox cathodes. The approach can be attractive for small-scale,

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.
