A Fourier transform for sheaves on Lagrangian families of real tori

open access: yes, 2001
We systematically develop a transform of the Fourier-Mukai type for sheaves on symplectic manifolds $X$ of any dimension fibred in Lagrangian tori. One obtains a bijective correspondence between unitary local systems supported on Lagrangian submanifolds ...

Shape operator of an $ (n-1) $-dimensional distribution on an $ n $-dimensional manifold and their classification [PDF]

open access: yesریاضی و جامعه
This paper aims to study of shape operator of an $ (n-1) $-dimensional distribution on an $ n $-dimensional smooth manifold. In this study firstly we state formulae for the shape operator and its symmetric and anti-symmetric components and in ...

Grassmann geometries in infinite dimensional homogeneous spaces and an application to reflective submanifolds

open access: yes, 2007
Let U be a real form of a complex semisimple Lie group, and tau, sigma, a pair of commuting involutions on U. This data corresponds to a reflective submanifold of a symmetric space, U/K.

Codimension two marginally trapped submanifolds in Robertson-Walker spaces

open access: yes, 2015
We give a local characterization of codimension two submanifolds which are marginally trapped in Robertson-Walker spaces, in terms of an algebraic equation to be satisfied by the height function.

Characterizations of Transversal Lightlike Submanifolds in Indefinite Golden Statistical Geometry

open access: yesMathematics
We investigate transversal and radical transversal lightlike submanifolds (TLSs) of indefinite golden statistical manifolds (IGSMs). Using the dual affine connections associated with statistical structures, we obtain decomposition formulas and derive ...

Deformations of coisotropic submanifolds and strong homotopy Lie algebroids

open access: yes, 2005
In this paper, we study deformations of coisotropic submanifolds in a symplectic manifold. First we derive the equation that governs $C^\infty$ deformations of coisotropic submanifolds and define the corresponding $C^\infty$-moduli space of coisotropic ...

Solving Local Equivalence Problems with the Equivariant Moving Frame Method

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2013
Given a Lie pseudo-group action, an equivariant moving frame exists in the neighborhood of a submanifold jet provided the action is free and regular. For local equivalence problems the freeness requirement cannot always be satisfied and in this paper we ...

Mathematical Support to Braneworld Theory

open access: yes, 2008
The braneworld theory appear with the purpose of solving the problem of the hierarchy of the fundamental interactions. The perspectives of the theory emerge as a new physics, for example, deviation of the law of Newton's gravity. One of the principles of

Degree theory for 4‐dimensional asymptotically conical gradient expanding solitons

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 79, Issue 5, Page 1151-1298, May 2026.
Abstract We develop a new degree theory for 4‐dimensional, asymptotically conical gradient expanding solitons. Our theory implies the existence of gradient expanding solitons that are asymptotic to any given cone over S3$S^3$ with non‐negative scalar curvature. We also obtain a similar existence result for cones whose link is diffeomorphic to S3/Γ$S^3/\
