We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Picketing for Area Standards: An Exception to Section 8(b)(7) [PDF]
A union\u27s picketing for area standards, requesting a non-union employer to provide the prevailing employment benefits offered by unionized operations in the locale, has been held by the National Labor Relations Board to be non-recognitional and hence ...

On some peculiar aspects of the constructive theory of point-free spaces
This paper presents several independence results concerning the topos-valid and the intuitionistic (generalized) predicative theories of locales. In particular, certain consequences of the consistency of a general form of Troelstra's uniformity principle

Localized Complications from Local Anesthesia
The inherent safety of local anesthetics allows practitioners to use them frequently with the confidence that adverse events are rare. Nevertheless, complications can occur. The aim of this article is to briefly review the localized adverse events that may result from local anesthetic administration.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

It is well known that the internal suplattices in the topos of sheaves on a locale are precisely the modules on that locale. Using enriched category theory and a lemma on KZ doctrines we prove (the generalization of) this fact in the case of ordered ...

Stone duality and quasi-orbit spaces for generalised C*-inclusions
Let $A$ and $B$ be $C^*$-algebras with $A\subseteq M(B)$. Exploiting Stone duality and a Galois connection between restriction and induction for ideals in $A$ and $B$, we identify conditions that allow to define a quasi-orbit space and a quasi-orbit map ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.
