APPLICATION OF MULTIFACTOR ANALYSIS FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETECTING IMPLANT IN THE SOFTWARE IN LOCAL COMPUTER NETWORKS

Herald of Khmelnytskyi National University. Technical sciences, 2020
The paper investigates strategies for detecting undocumented bookmarks in software, which may be independent objects or part of certain malicious software. Local computer networks were chosen as the place of research. The difficulty of detecting such a secretly included in the software functional object, which under certain conditions is able to ...

Towards the Preservation of Local Computer Game Software

Convergence: The International Journal of Research into New Media Technologies, 2009
/ New Zealand's digital game history includes a significant quantity of locally written software titles from the 1980s. Currently, few people are aware of this, no institutional collections exist, and institutional preservation efforts are directed elsewhere. This context prompted the assembly of a multidisciplinary team of researchers to bring legal,

Comparision between computer clouds and local clusters in CFD software application

2012
Work is a comparison of HPC clusters and computer cloud consid¬ering problem size and communication pattern. The paper addresses aspects like performance, costs, scalability, elasticity, reliability, and resource utilization. Comparison has been made indicating application of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations.

Totally Distributed, Redundantly Structured Hardware and Software Local Computer Control Network

IEEE Power Engineering Review, 1983
The following presentation of a newly devised local computer control network is based on the conceptual design developed for a Solar Cogeneration Industrial Plant, sponsored by DOE under Contract DE-AC03-81SF 11533. The control system features a modular local computer network, whose redundancy can be designed to meet any availability requirement of a ...

Re-engineering Technology and Software Tools for Distributed Computations Using Local Area Network

2008
A new technology is proposed for integration the old standalone Fortran -- written computational programs into more large distributed computer systems. This is a re-engineering technology, because the main developer's tool becames a F2F program for source modules converting.

MRI-guided stereotaxic targeting in pigs based on a stereotaxic localizer box fitted with an isocentric frame and use of SurgiPlan computer-planning software

Journal of Neuroscience Methods, 2009
We present a stereotaxic procedure enabling MRI-guided isocentric stereotaxy in pigs. The procedure is based on the Leksell stereotaxic arch principle, and a stereotaxic localizer box with an incorporated fiducial marking system (sideplates) defining a stereotaxic space similar to the clinical Leksell system.

Is Fault Localization Effective on Industrial Software? A Case Study on Computer-Aided Engineering Projects

ACM Transactions on Software Engineering and Methodology
In software engineering, empirical studies on automated fault localization (FL) methods mainly focus on general software, and substantial progress have been made. However, the applicability and efficacy of these methods in specialized, domain-specific software like industrial software remains under-explored.

Prospective Follow-up of 709 interventions for Varicose Veins Carried out Under Tumescent Local Anesthesia Using Innovating Computer Software of “patient Follow-up”

Annals of Vascular Surgery, 2015
Objectives: The surgery of the varicose veins under tumescent local anesthesia is not very widespread. We sought to evaluate the feasibility and the short-term results of this technique. The patient filled follow-up questionnaires by connecting on a secure server via his email.

From Teaching Software Engineering Locally and Globally to Devising an Internationalized Computer Science Curriculum

2018
Software development is the process to produce an information technology solution to a real-world problem. Teaching and integrating non-technical software engineering skills into the curriculum is considered one of the most challenging tasks in an academic environment.
