Sensitive Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance Multiplexing Protocols
Analytical Chemistry, 2012Herein are reported two new protocols to obtain different zones of localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) gold nanostructures on single glass substrate by using a vacuum evaporation technique followed by a high-temperature annealing (550 °C). The thickness of the gold film, considered as the essential parameter to determine specific LSPR properties,

Localized Surface Plasmon Resonances
2017Surface plasmon polaritons are propagating energy waves at a plane metallic–dielectric interface. Metallic nanoparticles supply an effective restoring force to drive electrons in an oscillating electromagnetic field. A specific resonance condition leads to a field amplification localized in the near zone inside and outside the particle.

Surface-Dependent Localized Surface Plasmon Resonances in CuS Nanodisks
ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, 2013We demonstrated revertible shifts of surface-dependent localized surface plasmon resonances (LSPRs) in CuS nanodisks. Oleylamine (OYA) served as a solvent and surface ligand covering on CuS nanodisks during the thermolysis of single-source precursor copper ethylxanthate (Cu(ex)2).

Electrochemistry on a Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensor
Langmuir, 2009The optical signal of a localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR)-based sensor combined with electrochemistry was investigated. Gold nanoparticles were immobilized on an indium tin oxide (ITO) substrate, which functioned as working electrode. Using cyclic voltammetry synchronized with LSPR sensing, surface reactions on gold were detected both ...

Planar plasmonic sensor based on spoof localized surface plasmons
2015 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC), 2015A planar plasmonic sensor based on textured metallic disk is demonstrated, where a simple and integrated method is used to excite the spoof localized surface plasmons (LSPs). Multipolar plasmonic resonant modes can be easily observed on the textured metallic disk.
