Minimum Energy Problems with External Fields on Locally Compact Spaces
Constructive approximation, 2022The paper deals with minimum energy problems in the presence of external fields on a locally compact space $X$ with respect to a function kernel $\kappa$ satisfying the energy and consistency principles.

Balayage of measures on a locally compact space
Analysis Mathematica, 2020We develop a theory of inner balayage of a positive Radon measure μ of finite energy on a locally compact space X to arbitrary A ⊂ X , thereby generalizing Cartan’s theory of Newtonian inner balayage on ℝ n , n ⩾ 3, to a suitable function kernel on X ...

On the theory of balayage on locally compact spaces
Potential Analysis, 2021The paper deals with the theory of balayage of (signed) Radon measures μ of finite energy on a locally compact space X with respect to a consistent kernel κ satisfying the domination principle. Such theory is now specified for the case where the topology

Integration on locally compact spaces [PDF]
Harmonic analysis on a locally compact group is the study of certain spaces and algebras of functions and measures defined on the group. The function spaces in question are defined by measurability and integrability conditions; manipulation of the relevant measures requires delicate techniques from measure and integration theory.

Locally compact, ω1-compact spaces
Annals of Pure and Applied LogicAn $ω_1$-compact space is a space in which every closed discrete subspace is countable. We give various general conditions under which a locally compact, $ω_1$-compact space is $σ$-countably compact, i.e., the union of countably many countably compact spaces. These conditions involve very elementary properties.

On the local compactness and spaces of subsets
Publicationes Mathematicae Debrecen, 1996Summary: The local compactness of the union of compact sets, and some relationships between the local compactness property of a topological space \(X\) and the space of its compact subsets are studied. Finally, an application in the theory of multifunctions is given.
