Bornological Convergence in Locally Convex Cones

Mediterranean Journal of Mathematics, 2015
-- On regrettera l'absence d'exemples.

Locally convex quotient lattice cones

Mathematische Nachrichten, 2013
Walter Roth has investigated certain equivalence relations on locally convex cones in [W. Roth, Locally convex quotient cones, J. Convex Anal. 18, No. 4, 903–913 (2011)] which give rise to the definition of a locally convex quotient cone. In this paper, we investigate some special equivalence relations on a locally convex lattice cone by which the ...

Locally convex projective limit cones

Mathematica Slovaca, 2016
Abstract Using a family of ordered cones, we define a suitable order to investigate projective limit topologies for cones. Under the strict separation property, the projective limit cone topology is proved to be equivalent to some of the X-topologies embedded on a subcone of the product cone in its topology. Also, we discuss the cones of

Compactness in locally convex cones

2020
Summary: We investigate notions of compactness with respect to the relative topologies of a locally convex cone. Since these topologies are generally not Hausdorff and the uniform structures induced by the upper and lower relative topologies are not symmetric, we introduce suitable generalizations for the concepts of precompactness and completeness ...

Weak compactness in locally convex cones

Positivity, 2018
Dual pairs of locally convex ordered cones are considered and compactness in such cones is explored. It is proved that a subset of a cone is weakly (upper-, lower-, symmetric) compact if and only if it is weakly (upper-, lower-, symmetric) compact with respect to all coarsest weak topologies.

Locally convex cones and the Schröder-Simpson theorem

Quaestiones Mathematicae, 2012
This paper paper has two goals: Firstly, to present the conceptual proof of the Schroder-Simpson theorem. The Schroder-Simpson theorem is stated in terms of domain theory and uses directed complete partially ordered cones and Scottcontinuous maps. These structures are used to model probabilistic phenomena in denotational semantics.
