Topology and Material Optimization in Ultra‐Soft Magneto‐Active Structures: Making Advantage of Residual Anisotropies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Residual magnetization induces pronounced mechanical anisotropy in ultra‐soft magnetorheological elastomers, shaping deformation and actuation even without external magnetic fields. This study introduces a computational‐experimental framework integrating magneto‐mechanical coupling into topology optimization for designing soft magnetic actuators with ...

Locally graded groups with a condition on infinite subsets [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Group Theory, 2018
Let $G$ be a group‎, ‎we say that $G$ satisfies the property $mathcal{T}(infty)$ provided that‎, ‎every infinite set of elements of $G$ contains elements $xneq y‎, ‎z$ such that $[x‎, ‎y‎, ‎z]=1=[y‎, ‎z‎, ‎x]=[z‎, ‎x‎, ‎y]$‎.

Thermodynamic Limits to Molecular Doping in Conjugated Polymers: A Perspective on Phase Behavior and Miscibility

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Molecular doping of conjugated polymers is fundamentally constrained by thermodynamic phase behavior. This Perspective reframes doping efficiency and stability in terms of miscibility limits, binodals, and solvus boundaries, highlighting the role of effective interaction parameters and charge transfer.

Completely simple endomorphism rings of modules

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2018
It is proved that if Ap is a countable elementary abelian p-group, then: (i) The ring End (Ap) does not admit a nondiscrete locally compact ring topology.

Classification theory of simple locally finite groups [PDF]

open access: yes, 1983
This thesis constitutes a contribution to applied stability theory. We consider the classification problem of the stable simple locally finite groups.

Rethinking Charge Transport and Recombination in Donor‐Diluted Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Organic solar cells with 1–45% PM6 content in Y12 were studied to link structure and charge dynamics to performance. The conductivity follows a 3D percolation model without a sharp threshold. Donor dilution preserves the photogeneration yield, but limits the fill factor due to transport resistance losses.

Nilpotent $p$-local finite groups

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper we prove characterizations of $p$-nilpotency for fusion systems and $p$-local finite groups that are inspired by results in the literature for finite groups. In particular, we generalize criteria by Atiyah, Brunetti, Frobenius, Quillen, Stammbach and Tate.

Locally Finite Groups with All Subgroups Normal-by-(Finite Rank)

open access: yes, 1998
A group is said to have finite (special) rank ≤sif all of its finitely generated subgroups can be generated byselements. LetGbe a locally finite group and suppose thatH/HGhas finite rank for all subgroupsHofG, whereHGdenotes the normal core ofHinG.

Switchable Magnonic Crystals Based on Spin Crossover/CrSBr Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Multiscale modeling is employed to investigate the functionality of a light‐controlled, tunable magnonic crystal based on spin‐crossover Fe‐pz molecules integrated with a monolayer of CrSBr. Ab initio simulations confirm that the molecules remain functional on the CrSBr surface, while a semiclassical elastic model demonstrates that light‐induced ...

Finite spaces and the universal bundle of a group [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
summary:We find sufficient conditions for a cotriad of which the objects are locally trivial fibrations, in order that the push-out be a locally trivial fibration.
