How Long Can Optimal Locally Repairable Codes Be?

A locally repairable code (LRC) with locality $r$ allows for the recovery of any erased codeword symbol using only $r$ other codeword symbols. A Singleton-type bound dictates the best possible trade-off between the dimension and distance of LRCs --- an LRC attaining this trade-off is deemed \emph{optimal}.

Abstract This study used photovoice methodology to explore Asian Americans' perspectives on the root causes and protective factors of firearm violence in their communities. Binary locally repairable codes from complete multipartite graphs

In this paper, we propose a construction of binary locally repairable codes from complete multipartite graphs. Our codes possess joint locality (r1 = 2, r2 = 3 or 4). Joint locality is a set of numbers of symbols for repairing various erasure patterns of symbols. We also provide availability properties of our codes.
