Multidimensional Heat‐Path Engineering in Thermal Interface Materials for High‐Performance Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This review presents multidimensional heat‐path engineering for thermal interface materials, showing how internal heat transport, interfacial contact and bondline formation, and processing‐defined pathway architectures together determine bonded‐joint thermal performance.

Effect of Denture Cleansing Solutions on the Retention of Locator Attachments Over Time

Journal of Prosthodontics, 2020
AbstractPurposeTo evaluate and compare the alterations in retention of three Locator attachments after immersion in various denture cleansers at defined time intervals.Materials and MethodsTwo implants were embedded in an acrylic block. Pink, blue, and clear Locator attachments (n = 10 for each subgroup) were immersed into three different cleansing ...

[Locator or ball attachment: a guide for clinical decision making].

open access: yesSchweizer Monatsschrift fur Zahnmedizin = Revue mensuelle suisse d'odonto-stomatologie = Rivista mensile svizzera di odontologia e stomatologia, 2009
Various attachments are available to retain overdentures on natural roots or implants. Technical aspects, the clinical handling, the capability to adapt or repair and the costs are parameters to be considered when choosing the appropriate attachment. Ball attachments and bars are clinically established and well documented.

On the Attachment Location of Dynamic Vibration Absorbers

Journal of Vibration and Acoustics, 2009
In mechanical engineering a commonly used approach to attenuate vibration amplitudes in resonant conditions is the attachment of a dynamic vibration absorber. The optimal parameters for this damped spring-mass system are well known for single-degree-of-freedom undamped main systems (Den Hartog, J. P., 1956, Mechanical Vibrations, McGraw-Hill, New York).
