The Multigeneic _Rhg1_ Locus: A Model For The Effects on Root Development, Nematode Resistance and Recombination Suppression. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Soybean (Glycine max L. Merr.) resistance to populations (HgType) of _Heterodera glycines I._, the soybean cyst nematode (SCN), requires a functional allele at rhg1. An apoptosis-like response in the giant cells formed around the nematode results 24-48 h

Lelong numbers on projective varieties

open access: yes, 2010
Given a positive closed (1,1)-current $T$ defined on the regular locus of a projective variety $X$ with bounded mass near the singular part of $X$ and $Y$ an irreducible algebraic subset of $X$, we present uniform estimates for the locus inside $Y$ where

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Mendorong Pemahaman Kritis Tentang Dokumen-Dokumen Prinsipil dan Narasi Kebijakan Luar Negeri Amerika di Kawasan Asia Pasifik 2000-2010: Catatan Penelitian

open access: yesParadigma: Jurnal Kajian Budaya, 2011
This research note essentially highlights how an argumentation was developed to reveal the implicit tensions that had been part of the American foreign policy maneuvers in Asia-Pacific, and the locus that were expressed have caused controversy.

Integrated genomic and proteomic profiling reveals insights into chemoradiation resistance in cervical cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

Reduced vascular leakage correlates with breast carcinoma T regulatory cell infiltration but not with metastatic propensity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A mouse model for vascular normalization and a human breast cancer cohort were studied to understand the relationship between vascular leakage and tumor immune suppression. For this, endothelial and immune cell RNAseq, staining for vascular function, and immune cell profiling were employed.

Drosophila forked locus [PDF]

open access: yesMolecular and Cellular Biology, 1986
A 40-kilobase-pair region of the Drosophila X chromosome from band 15F was cloned, and DNA insertions were indentified for the forked alleles f1, f3, f3n, f5, f36a, fs, and fx. The positions of these insertions are consistent with the organization of the two pseudoallelic series present at the forked locus. Three RNAs of 0.8, 2.6, and 3.3 kilobases are

Liquid biopsy epigenetics: establishing a molecular profile based on cell‐free DNA

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) fragments in plasma from cancer patients carry epigenetic signatures reflecting their cells of origin. These epigenetic features include DNA methylation, nucleosome modifications, and variations in fragmentation. This review describes the biological properties of each feature and explores optimal strategies for harnessing cfDNA ...
