Improvement of Latex Quality Using Locally-Produced Organic Fertilizer from Rubber Processing Sewage Sludges [PDF]
Most of rubber plants in Indonesia are cultivated in highly-weathered soils; therefore, their annual productions are relatively low with the low quality of latex. The aim of this reseach was to increase the latex quality from a rubber plantation grown on

Classification under Streaming Emerging New Classes: A Solution using Completely Random Trees [PDF]
This paper investigates an important problem in stream mining, i.e., classification under streaming emerging new classes or SENC. The common approach is to treat it as a classification problem and solve it using either a supervised learner or a semi ...

ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.

Epilepsy‐Associated Variants of a Single SCN1A Codon Exhibit Divergent Functional Properties
ABSTRACT Objective Pathogenic variants in SCN1A, which encodes the voltage‐gated sodium channel NaV1.1, are associated with multiple epilepsy syndromes exhibiting a range of clinical severity. SCN1A variants are reported in different syndromes, including Dravet syndrome, which is associated with loss‐of‐function, whereas neonatal/infantile‐onset ...

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

Discontinuous Shear Thickening in Cornstarch Suspensions
We study the emergence of discontinuous shear-thickening (DST) in cornstarch, the well know system for this phenomenon, by combining macroscopic rheometry with local Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) measurements. We bring evidence that macroscopic DST is

Impovement of Latex Quality Using Locally-Produced Organic Fertilizer From Sewage Sludges in a Rubber Processing [PDF]
Most rubber plants in Indonesia are cultivated in highly-weathered soils; therefore, their annual productions have been relatively low with low quality latex as well. Therefore, some measures must be taken.

Array-based sequencing of filaggrin gene for comprehensive detection of disease-associated variants [PDF]
The filaggrin gene (FLG) is essential for skin differentiation and epidermal barrier formation. FLG loss-of-function (LoF) variants are associated with ichthyosis vulgaris and the major genetic risk factor for developing atopic dermatitis (AD).1, 2, 3 ...

This work demonstrates the successful integration of a phenanthroline‐based 2D COF with MnI catalytic sites into a catholyte‐free membrane‐electrode‐assembly cell for CO2 electroreduction. The crystalline COF actively suppresses Mn⁰–Mn⁰ dimerization, achieving a turnover frequency of 617 h⁻¹ at 2.8 V (full‐cell potential), and enabling stable operation.
