A finite failure software reliability model using extended log-logistic distribution
Software reliability engineering has been developed to examine software systems over the years. Non-homogeneous Poisson process (NHPP) models are widely employed for analyzing software reliability data, as they have the ability to describe the expected ...

A Power Log-logistic Modified Weibull Distribution: Model, Properties and a Simulation
This paper deals with a new model called the power log-logistic modified Weibull distribution (PLLoGMWD) using the power transformation method, which can be regarded as an extension of the distribution introduced by Broderick O. Oluyede et al.

Deriving Tree Crown Distributions from Diameter at Breast Height
The distribution of crown diameter is important for assessing crown social class, monitoring forest health and wildlife management. However, the direct measurement of crown diameter is relative difficult, and as such, it is often predicted from diameter

Extended Poisson-Log-Logistic Distribution
In this work, we introduce a new Poisson-log-logistic distribution with a physical interpretation and some applications. Some essential properties are derived. Modeling of four real data sets are provided to illustrate the wide applicability of the new model in differnt fields like finance, reliability, economy and medicine.

A fully organic UV threshold dosimeter is developed by exploiting the oxygen‐sensitive room‐temperature phosphorescence of a purely organic emitter in a polymer matrix. Upon reaching a specific cumulative UV dose, photochemical oxygen depletion triggers a sharp, high‐contrast emission.

Future of option pricing: use of log logistic distribution instead of log normal distribution in Black Scholes model [PDF]
Options are historically being priced using Black Scholes option pricing model and one of the prominent features of it is normal distribution. In this research paper I will calculate European call options using log logistic distribution instead of ...

DISCRIMINATING BETWEEN LOG-LOGISTIC AND RAYLEIGH DISTRIBUTIONS
Test statistics based on likelihood function, order statistics, population quantiles are suggested to discriminate between log-logistic distribution and Rayleigh distribution. Because of non tractability of their exact sampling distributions, the percentiles of the proposed test statistics are tabulated with the help of simulated sampling distributions

Automated poultry processing lines still rely on humans to lift slippery, easily bruised carcasses onto a shackle conveyor. Deformability, anatomical variance, and hygiene rules make conventional suction and scripted motions unreliable. We present ChicGrasp, an end‐to‐end hardware‐software co‐designed imitation learning framework, to offer a ...

Skew Log-Logistic distribution: properties and application
This paper introduces a novel three-parameter skew-log-logistic distribution. The research involves the development of a new random variable based on Azzalini and Capitanio's (2013) proposition.
