Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Detection of extrachromosomal circular DNA (eccDNA) in plasma samples from EGFR‐mutated non‐small cell lung cancer patients. Plasma was collected before and during treatment with the EGFR‐tyrosine kinase inhibitor osimertinib. Plasma eccDNA was detected in all cancer samples, and the presence of the EGFR gene on eccDNA serves as a potential biomarker ...

The discrete logarithm problem in Bergman's non-representable ring
Bergman's ring , parameterized by a prime number p, is a ring with p5 elements that cannot be embedded in a ring of matrices over any commutative ring. This ring was discovered in 1974.

A mouse model for vascular normalization and a human breast cancer cohort were studied to understand the relationship between vascular leakage and tumor immune suppression. For this, endothelial and immune cell RNAseq, staining for vascular function, and immune cell profiling were employed.

Accuracy of Euler’s gamma expansion without logarithm
The rational approximations for the Euler–Mascheroni constant using the Euler asymptotic expansion are obtained. The errors of approximations are evaluated. The numerical computations reflect the accuracy of the approximations.

Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.

Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...

Discrimination between the lognormal and Weibull Distributions by using multiple linear regression
In reliability analysis, both the Weibull and the lognormal distributions are analyzed by using the observed data logarithms. While the Weibull data logarithm presents skewness, the lognormal data logarithm is symmetrical. This paper presents a method to
