The interpretation of coefficients in multiplicative-logarithmic functions
Applied Economics, 1993This paper shows that the size, sign and significance of the estimated coefficients in multiplicative-logarithmic functions are not invariant to the units of measurement utilized. The derived elasticities, however, are invariant to the units of measurement and are, thus, the meaningful magnitude to focus upon.
