Closed expressions using the Lerch function for a definite integral are derived and evaluated. Some of these closed expressions are given in Gradshteyn and Ryzhik. Some special cases of the integral are derived and discussed. The majority of the results in this work are new.

Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

High-temperature limit of Breit–Wheeler pair production in a black-body field
This paper presents an analytic expression for the high-temperature limit of Breit–Wheeler pair production in a black-body field to lowest order in perturbation theory, of interest in early-universe cosmology.

ATP13A2 is involved in intracellular polyamine transport in lung epithelial cells
Spermidine transport in lung epithelial cells involves the polyamine transporter ATP13A2. Cell proliferation is associated with the upregulation of ATP13A2. Polyamines are present in all living cells and are implicated in various crucial cellular processes such as proliferation, apoptosis and autophagy.

One-loop Lipatov vertex in QCD with higher ϵ-accuracy
The effective Reggeon-Reggeon-gluon vertex, known as Lipatov vertex, is the key ingredient that allows to develop the BFKL approach in QCD. Within the next-to-leading logarithmic approximation, it is sufficient to know its one-loop corrections, in ...

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Friction on a Quantized Vortex in a Superfluid
We obtain the explicit expression of the friction on a moving quantized vortex, following the formulation of Thouless, Ao and Niu. It is shown that the friction on a moving vortex is sensitive to details but does not change the transverse force.

Frailty Exacerbates Disability in Progressive Multiple Sclerosis
ABSTRACT Background To evaluate frailty in severe progressive multiple sclerosis (PMS) and to investigate the underlying mechanisms. Methods This prospective, cross‐sectional, multicenter study enrolled a late severe PMS group requiring skilled nursing (n = 53) and an age, sex, and disease duration‐matched control PMS group (n = 53).

Two-Loop Soft Corrections and Resummation of the Thrust Distribution in the Dijet Region [PDF]
The thrust distribution in electron-positron annihilation is a classical precision QCD observable. Using renormalization group (RG) evolution in Laplace space, we perform the resummation of logarithmically enhanced corrections in the dijet limit, $T\to 1$
