Logarithmic heat kernel estimates without curvature restrictions
The main results of the article are short time estimates and asymptotic estimates for the first two order derivatives of the logarithmic heat kernel of a complete Riemannian manifold. We remove all curvature restrictions and also develop several techniques.

A Logarithmic Image Prior for Blind Deconvolution [PDF]
Blind Deconvolution consists in the estimation of a sharp image and a blur kernel from an observed blurry image. Because the blur model admits several solutions it is necessary to devise an image prior that favors the true blur kernel and sharp image ...

Tikhonov Regularization For An Integral Equation Of The First Kind With Logarithmic Kernel [PDF]
In this paper, we discuss stability and Tikhonov regularization for the integral equation of the first kind with logarithmic kernel. Since the kernel is analytic in our case, the problem is severely ill-posed.

An inequality for a quadratic functional
An inequality is proved for a quadratic functional with the logarithmic kernel. The best constant of this inequality and the corresponding function for which the equality holds are found precisely.

Logarithmic Bergman Kernel and Conditional Expectation of Gaussian Holomorphic Fields [PDF]
We prove the asymptotic of the logarithmic Bergman kernel. And as an application, we calculate the conditional expectation of density of zeros of Gaussian random sections of powers of a positive line bundle that vanish along a fixed smooth subvariety.

Weighted Bergman Kernels for Logarithmic Weights [PDF]
We describe the boundary singularity of weighted Bergman kernels on smoothly bounded strictly pseudoconvex domains for weights which behave, roughly speaking, likely formal power series in defining function with coefficients which are polynomials in the logarithm of defining function.

Logarithmic correction to black hole entropy in universal low-energy string theory models
We calculate the logarithmic correction to the entropy of asymptotically flat and AdS black holes (rotating, non-rotating, charged, and uncharged) embedded in Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton (EMD) theories with U(1)-charged.

A new technical for solving a weakly singular integro-differential equations
In this work, we transform a weakly singular integro-differential equations with logarithmic kernel to singular integral equations of Cauchy type and we prove by regularization the existence and uniqueness of the solution of this equations.

Random walk on the range of random walk [PDF]
We study the random walk X on the range of a simple random walk on ℤ d in dimensions d≥4. When d≥5 we establish quenched and annealed scaling limits for the process X, which show that the intersections of the original simple random walk path are ...

Kernel Least Logarithmic Absolute Difference Algorithm
Kernel adaptive filtering (KAF) algorithms derived from the second moment of error criterion perform very well in nonlinear system identification under assumption of the Gaussian observation noise; however, they inevitably suffer from severe performance degradation in the presence of non-Gaussian impulsive noise and interference.
