Blow-Up for a Stochastic Viscoelastic Lamé Equation with Logarithmic Nonlinearity

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2021
In this paper, we consider an initial boundary value problem of stochastic viscoelastic wave equation with nonlinear damping and logarithmic nonlinear source terms. We proved a blow-up result for the solution with decreasing kernel.

Global Existence and Decay Estimates of Energy of Solutions for a New Class of p-Laplacian Heat Equations with Logarithmic Nonlinearity

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2021
The present research paper is related to the analytical studies of p-Laplacian heat equations with respect to logarithmic nonlinearity in the source terms, where by using an efficient technique and according to some sufficient conditions, we get the ...

dynoGP: Deep Gaussian Processes for Dynamic System Identification

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
This work introduces a novel class of deep models for system identification, dynamical deep Gaussian processes, which combine the strengths of data‐driven methods, such as those based on neural network architectures, with the ability to output a probability distribution for uncertainty representation.

A Numerical–Experimental Approach for Multi‐Matrix Fiber‐Reinforced Plastics Characterization Using Finite Element Model Updating

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

${1 / 2}$-Laplacian problem with logarithmic and exponential nonlinearities

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2023
In this paper, based on a suitable fractional Trudinger–Moser inequality, we establish sufficient conditions for the existence result of least energy sign-changing solution for a class of one-dimensional nonlocal equations involving logarithmic and ...

Workflow for Design of Experiments‐Based Modeling of Species Transport and Growth Kinetics in GaN Hydride Vapor Phase Epitaxy

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A novel workflow for investigating hydride vapor phase epitaxy for GaN bulk crystal growth is proposed. It combines Design of experiments (DoE) with physical simulations of mass transport and crystal growth kinetics, serving as an intermediate step between DoE and experiments.

(p(x),q(x))-Kirchhoff-Type Problems Involving Logarithmic Nonlinearity with Variable Exponent and Convection Term

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2022
In the present article, we study a class of Kirchhoff-type equations driven by the (p(x),q(x))-Laplacian. Due to the lack of a variational structure, ellipticity, and monotonicity, the well-known variational methods are not applicable.

Electrochemical Behavior of Flame‐Sprayed Sc‐Doped AlCoCrFeMo High‐Entropy Alloy Coatings in 3.5% Sodium Chloride Solution

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Scandium (Sc)‐doped AlCoCrFeMo HEA coatings are fabricated via flame spraying with 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt% Sc additions. Among these, the HEA‐Sc0.3 coating exhibits the highest corrosion resistance, indicated by a more positive corrosion potential and lower current density.

Microstructure Modification of Additively Manufactured Mo–9Si–8B by Annealing and Its Effects on High‐Temperature Mechanical Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Postbuild annealing systematically modifies the phase fractions and morphology of EB‐PBF processed Mo–9Si–8B. Quantitative microstructure–property correlations reveal how controlled phase evolution enhances high‐temperature compressive strength and creep resistance.

Nonnegative solution of a class of double phase problems with logarithmic nonlinearity

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2022
This manuscript proves the existence of a nonnegative, nontrivial solution to a class of double-phase problems involving potential functions and logarithmic nonlinearity in the setting of Sobolev space on complete manifolds.
