ABSTRACT Planetary nebulae represent a late evolutionary phase of low‐ to intermediate‐mass stars. In this article, we present the serendipitous discovery of a previously unknown, faint potential Galactic planetary nebula (PN) in the constellation Camelopardalis, identified during a survey‐inspection, aiming at the detection of dwarf companions of the ...

ABSTRACT In this study, bioassay‐guided fractionation of the ethanolic extract from Eremanthus crotonoides leaves enabled the isolation of two bioactive sesquiterpene lactones, centratherin and goyazensolide, which were evaluated for their antimycobacterial and anti‐inflammatory properties.

Schematic of NiMoO4 synthesis and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) performance. Ni/Mo precursor solution with agar is calcined and deposited on a glassy‐carbon electrode, yielding NiMoO4 that catalyzes the OER (H2O → O2). The inset linear sweep voltammetry plot highlights its superior activity compared to IrO2, commercial NiMoO4, and NiO.

GWAS reveals novel QTLs associated with panicle architecture traits in US long‐grain rice
Abstract Understanding the variability of panicle architecture‐related traits is important to enhance rice (Oryza sativa L.) improvement. The present study evaluated 208 diverse rice lines of southern rice breeding programs for panicle length (PL), panicle weight (PW), and thousand grain weight (GW).

Sea red rice bran polysaccharides were separated and purified by DEAE‐52 column chromatography, yielding three components: SRBP‐I, II, and III. Moreover, all three are pentosan‐type polysaccharides predominantly composed of mannose. Among them, SRBP‐I demonstrated the most potent inhibitory effect on HeLa cells. Further investigation indicated that the

This study investigated the functionality, color, pasting and rheological properties of sorghum–pearl millet composite flour fortified with oyster mushroom. Fortification increased water, oil and swelling capacities, while decreasing pasting viscosities. The color lightness and yellowness improved with increasing oyster mushroom levels.

Frequency‐Resolved Cortical Functional Connectivity Across the Adult Lifespan
An analysis of magnetoencephalography (MEG) recordings from 576 adults aged 18–87 years revealed frequency‐dependent changes in cortical functional connectivity across the adult lifespan, which are not explained by changes in source power. Beta‐band (13–30 Hz) connectivity at rest is associated with sensorimotor attenuation independent of these age ...

Brain Bases for Navigating Acoustic Features
We examined the human brain system for navigation to a remembered target through an acoustic environment defined by spectral density. We demonstrate the involvement of sites including the hippocampus and orbitofrontal cortex that also support physical navigation.
