Angewandte Chemie, EarlyView.In a solution of two metastable photoacids with contrasting absorption maxima, the solution pH may be control by varying the wavelength of the visible light input. This pH change governs the interaction between the Zn2+ cation and two competing anionic chiral ligands, detected by a change in circular dichroism (CD) spectra.
