Research on Enterprise Credit Risk Prediction Based on Text Information

open access: yesJournal of Risk Analysis and Crisis Response (JRACR), 2022
: This paper uses the text data mining method to separate the intonation in the annual reports of credit risk enterprises and non-credit risk enterprises, quantify it, and study the impact of annual report intonation on the effectiveness of credit risk ...

A new approach to the logistic function with some applications [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
In the present paper we propose a new approach to investigate the logistic function, commonly used in mathematical models in economics and management. The approach is based on indicating in a given time series, having a logistic trend, some characteristic points corresponding to zeroes of successive derivatives of the logistic function.

Epigenome‐wide association study, meta‐analysis, and multiscore profiling of whole blood in Parkinson's disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
Abstract Objectives An increasing body of evidence indicates altered DNA methylation in Parkinson's disease, yet the reproducibility and utility of such methylation changes are largely unexplored. We aimed to further elucidate the role of dysregulated DNA methylation in Parkinson's disease and to evaluate the biomarker potential of methylation‐based ...

An Integrated View on the Future of Logistics and Information Technology [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
In this position paper, we present our vision on the future of the logistics business domain and the use of information technology (IT) in this domain. The vision is based on extensive experience with Dutch and European logistics in various contexts and from various perspectives. We expect that the vision also holds for logistics outside Europe.

Liraglutide for idiopathic intracranial hypertension: a real‐world propensity score‐matched study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is a neurological disorder predominantly affecting young women with obesity, characterized by elevated intracranial pressure. While current treatments include weight loss counseling, medical therapies, and surgical interventions, their limitations necessitate exploring novel therapeutic ...

Handling rescue therapy in myasthenia gravis clinical trials: why it matters and why you should care

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
Abstract Myasthenia gravis (MG) clinical trials typically allow rescue therapy during follow‐up in the event of marked worsening of MG symptoms. Failure to appropriately address rescue therapy in defining treatment effects and planning statistical analyses may yield biased estimates, increase false positive rates, or decrease statistical power – all of

On type III generalized half logistic distribution [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2008
It is well known that generalized models is attracting the attention of researchers in recent times because of their flexibilities. Particularly, the logistic model has been generalized and applied by many authors while the half logistic distribution has not recieve much attention in term of its generalization.

Obtaining adjusted prevalence ratios from logistic regression model in cross-sectional studies

open access: yes, 2014
In the last decades, it has been discussed the use of epidemiological prevalence ratio (PR) rather than odds ratio as a measure of association to be estimated in cross-sectional studies.

Cerebral autoregulation in patients with acute lacunar infarction: a reliable predictor of outcome

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective To further investigate the association between dynamic cerebral autoregulation (dCA) and the outcomes in patients with acute lacunar infarction. Methods Patients were prospectively and consecutively enrolled at The First Hospital of Jilin University between 2016 and 2023. dCA was monitored at 1–3 and 7–10 days after the stroke.
