Competitive Relationships of Annual Ryegrass (Lolium Multiflorum Lam.)

Ecology, 1969
Annual ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum) competition with Kentucky bluegrass, hardinggrass, Blandon brome, wild oats, tall fescue, rose clover, and with itself was studied in greenhouse and field experiments. Ryegrass in a mixture of species always had a detrimental effect on the growth of other species.

Glyphosate resistance in a Chilean Lolium multiflorum.

Communications in agricultural and applied biological sciences, 2006
Lolium multiflorum (Italian ryegrass) has recently demonstrated itself to be poorly controlled with glyphosate in cereal crops of South Chile. The concentration of glyphosate necessary to reduce shoot length by 50% (ED50) in seedlings, after eight days of root contact was 7.3-fold in the resistant Vil-1 than in the susceptible (S) biotype. The obtained

Embryoids from Cultured Immature Embryos of Lolium multiflorum

Zeitschrift für Pflanzenphysiologie, 1980
Summary Cultured immature embryos of Lolium multiflorum gave various types of proliferation. Proliferating scutellum was observed to form embryo-like structures (embryoids) on its surface. Embryoids were picked off individually and regenerated into plantlets.

Salinity and pH stress on Lolium multiflorum Lam. germination

2013
Direct spreading on agricultural lands of olive mill wastewaters (OMWs) may represent an environmentally friendly disposal method. In the olive oil-producing Mediterranean regions OMWs spreading on soil represents a simple and cheap alternative to detoxification techniques that result in final waste discharge into natural water bodies (Barbera et al ...
