ABSTRACT Dynamic surface reconstruction critically governs the performance and durability of oxide‐based electrocatalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER), yet controlling this process under operating conditions remains challenging. Here, we demonstrate that lattice strain regulates the extent of surface reconstruction in perovskite oxides by ...

A synthetic protocol for fabricating high‐entropy rare earth perovskite oxides with abundant lattice distortions and oxygen vacancies has been developed, representing an emerging platform for anchoring RuO2. High entropy strategy significantly modulated the electronic structures and spin states, inducing a shift in the mechanism from the adsorption ...

Dom/Garachi in Azerbaijan among the Dom Communities in the Middle East and North Africa
The countries of the South Caucasus (Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia), along with Turkey, represent the only region in the world where all three main subdivisions of the heterogeneous community historically referred to as “Gypsies” — Dom, Lom, and Roma —

Understanding oxygen evolution mechanisms by tracking charge flow at the atomic level
Summary: Current classifications of oxygen evolution catalysts are based on energy levels of the clean catalysts. It is generally asserted that a LOM-catalyst can only follow LOM chemistry in each electron transfer step and that there can be no mixing ...

An IEEE LOM Application Profile to Describe Serious Games «SG-LOM»
games have become an indispensable part of the training compared to traditional online training that is often seen as restrictive and boring sometimes by learners. However, despite the contribution and potential of serious games in the education, their integration in the learning process is limited, this is due to the lack of tools and features of ...

Fe‐rich NiFe‐LDH catalysts derived from MOFs, showing superior OER activity via lattice oxygen mechanism activation. ABSTRACT Developing a durable and efficient oxygen evolution reaction (OER) catalyst without noble metals is essential for the economical and sustainable production of hydrogen by alkaline water electrolysis.

ABSTRACT Maghemite (γ$\gamma$‐Fe2${\rm Fe}_2$O3${\rm O}_{3}$) is a promising non‐precious‐metal‐containing photocatalyst for water oxidation (OER). Despite being less studied than Hematite, it offers similar corrosion resistance and a favorable band structure, along with higher conductivity and the advantage of an adaptable spinel structure.
