Waste activated sludge high‐rate treatment of septage: Biodegradability studies and contact phase trials towards a cleaner environment

Abstract The waste activated sludge high‐rate (WASHR) process, developed in our previous study, is used for septic wastewater treatment. This high‐rate contact stabilization pre‐treatment uses typical waste streams found in wastewater treatment plants to reduce a portion of the loadings on the main treatment trains.

Natural ecosystems are characterized by a specialization pattern where few species are common while many others are rare. In ecological networks involving biotic interactions, specialization operates as a continuum at individual, species, and community levels. Co‐Firing Slow Solidification Process for Growing Indium‐Doped Cs3Cu2I5 Single Crystals With Record‐Breaking X‐Ray Detection Performance

ENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A novel brand‐new co‐firing slow solidification process has been used to prepare Cs3Cu2I5: In single crystals (SCs), which demonstrate record‐breaking X‐ray detection performance. The regular‐shaped Cs3Cu2I5: In wafer obtains a high light yield (74 368 Ph MeV−1), which is the highest related to indium‐doped Cu‐based perovskites.
