Determining Stress Distribution in a Longitudinal Keratoconus Cohort
CorneaPurpose: To investigate whether stress distribution patterns can predict biomechanical progression in keratoconus eyes using longitudinal data. Methods: The corneal contribution to stress, (CCS) = r/2t, was ...

Distribution of Losses in Longitudinally Excited Vibrators
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1964A study of the loss distribution in longitudinally excited vibrators has been made for application to transducer design. The relative importance of losses related to longitudinal and shearing strains, the surface, and impedance transformations has been made.

The longitudinal distribution of the green corona activity
Solar Physics, 1971Two solar cycle observational material (1947–1968) from several corona stations brought to one intensity scale have been used to study the longitudinal distribution of the green corona activity. The ‘active longitudes’ rotating with a period of 28 days are visualized.

Transverse-to-Longitudinal Photocathode Distribution Imaging
2018In this paper, we present a tunable picosecond-scale bunch train generation technique combining a microlens array (MLA) transverse laser shaper and a transverse-to-longitudinal emittance exchange (EEX) beamline. The modulated beamlet array is formed at the photocathode with the MLA setup.

Longitudinal Momentum Distribution of Pionization Products
Physical Review Letters, 1969We obtain, on the basis of general principles only, a quantitative formula for the distribution of pionization products in ultrahigh-energy scattering as a function of the longitudinal momentum. Field theory is then used as a model to show the existence of the pionization process, and it also serves as an example in which the formula is satisfied.

Longitudinal distribution of the cool solar surges
Solar Physics, 1984This investigation shows that solar surges are poorly associated with sudden ionospheric disturbances (X-ray) implying that solar surge material is cool and does not heat the corona. The investigation also shows that solar surges are most prolific at longitudes 80°, 110°, 260°, and 290°.
