Weathering of the Emeishan Large Igneous Province Enhanced the Nutrient Flux to the Oceans and Led to Late Permian Climate Cooling

open access: yesGeochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems, Volume 27, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract Mafic continental large igneous provinces (LIPs) erupted rapidly and may have overwhelmed Earth's atmospheric and biospheric systems. However, the exact balance and interplay between short‐term climate warming caused by CO2 emissions and long‐term cooling due to LIP weathering remains poorly understood.

GIS and SWMM‐Integrated Multi‐Indicator Fuzzy Assessment for Urban Flood Risk in Chengdu

open access: yesJournal of Flood Risk Management, Volume 19, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Effective assessment of urban flood risk is essential for decision‐making under mixed and uncertain information conditions. This study proposes a multi‐indicator hesitant fuzzy assessment framework integrating hazard, exposure, and vulnerability.

Paleozoic basin prototype evolution and source rock development in the South Yellow Sea

open access: yesShiyou shiyan dizhi, 2020
Drill samples and outcrops confirmed that three sets of source rocks developed in the Lower Yangtze Block area, namely, the Lower Cambrian Mufushan Formation, the Upper Ordovician Wufeng Formation-the Lower Silurian Gaojiabian Formation, and the Permian.

Primulina marmorata (Gesneriaceae), a new species from northern Guangxi, China

open access: yesNordic Journal of Botany, Volume 2026, Issue 1, January 2026.
Primulina marmorata, a new species of Gesneriaceae from the limestone areas of Siding Town, Rong'an County, liuzhou City, Guangxi, China, is described and illustrated here. It morphologically resembles P. yungfuensis in leaf blades. Still, it can be easily distinguished from the latter by noting a combination of characteristics, especially in its ...

Mitigating Surface Tension Effects in Multi‐Coalbed Methane Reservoirs: Case Study of Liupanshui Field

open access: yesInternational Journal of Energy Research, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Water locking effect caused by surface tension severely restricts coalbed methane (CBM) productivity in multilayer reservoirs. The Songhe demonstration area features main target coal seams with overpressure, high gas content, and high gas saturation, presenting favorable CBM development conditions.
