Palmaris Longus Opponensplasty
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, 1995Camitz 1 used the palmaris longus extended by the proximal half of the palmar aponeurosis as an abductorplasty in patients with severe carpal tunnel syndrome and thenar atrophy. More recently Littler and Li, 2 Braun, 3 and Terrono et al. 4 have reported the use of this transfer.
