Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

Efficient Realization of Table Look-up based Double Precision Floating Point Arithmetic
In this paper we present different optimization techniques on look-up table based algorithms for double precision floating point arithmetic. Based on our analysis of different look-up table based algorithms in the literature, we re-engineer basics blocks

The human gut microbiome across the life course
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Table look-up estimation of signal and noise parameters from quantized observables
A table look-up algorithm for estimating underlying signal and noise parameters from quantized observables is examined. A general mathematical model is developed, and a look-up table designed specifically for estimating parameters from four-bit quantized

Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

A study on the performance analysis of the 2-ram look-up-table echo canceller

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

Design of Ultrathin Metasurface for Multiview 3D Display Based on Look-Up-Table Method
Multiview display has attention owing to its smooth motion parallax, visual discomfort alleviation, and wide depth of focus. Nevertheless, its applications are limited because of the freedom to design ultrathin display systems.

Compacting look-up-table models for all-digital RF-transmitters
Look-up table (LUT) models have been demonstrated to work well for predicting waveforms in circuits that show memory induced, nonlinear behavior. Although, for circuits with deep memory, the models become impractically complex.
