Quantum Reduced Loop Gravity [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of Frontiers of Fundamental Physics 14 — PoS(FFP14), 2016
Quantum Reduced Loop Gravity provides a promising framework for a consistent characterization of the early Universe dynamics. Inspired by BKL conjecture, a flat Universe is described as a collection of Bianchi I homogeneous patches. The resulting quantum dynamics is described by the scalar constraint operator, whose matrix elements can be analytically ...

A short review of loop quantum gravity [PDF]

open access: yesReports on Progress in Physics, 2021
AbstractAn outstanding open issue in our quest for physics beyond Einstein is the unification of general relativity (GR) and quantum physics. Loop quantum gravity (LQG) is a leading approach toward this goal. At its heart is the central lesson of GR: gravity is a manifestation of spacetime geometry.

Graph coherent states for loop quantum gravity [PDF]

open access: yesPhys. Rev. D 101, 124022 (2020), 2020
In this article we further investigate the construction of graph coherent states, first introduced in [1], in the context of loop quantum gravity. We specifically investigate the possibility of defining a family of graph coherent states adapted to the canonical loop quantum gravity Hamiltonian.

Loop Quantum Gravity [PDF]

open access: yesAstronomische Nachrichten, 2011
AbstractIn this talk, I give a short general introduction to Loop Quantum Gravity (LQG), beginning with some motivations for quantizing General Relativity, listing various attempts and then focusing on the case of LQG. (© 2014 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)

Loop quantum gravity’s boundary maps [PDF]

open access: yesClassical and Quantum Gravity, 2021
In canonical quantum gravity, the presence of spatial boundaries naturally leads to a boundary quantum states, representing quantum boundary conditions for the bulk fields. As a consequence, quantum states of the bulk geometry needs to be upgraded to wave-functions valued in the boundary Hilbert space: the bulk become quantum operator acting on ...

Quaternion-Loop Quantum Gravity [PDF]

open access: yesFoundations of Physics, 2009
It is shown that the Riemannian curvature of the 3-dimensional hypersurfaces in space-time, described by the Wilson loop integral, can be represented by a quaternion quantum operator induced by the SU(2) gauge potential, thus providing a justification for quaternion quantum gravity at the Tev energy scale.

Operators of quantum-reduced loop gravity from the perspective of full loop quantum gravity [PDF]

open access: yesPhys. Rev. D 102, 106010 (2020), 2020
Quantum-reduced loop gravity is a model of loop quantum gravity, which - from the technical point of view - is characterized by the remarkably simple form of its basic operators. In this article we examine the operators of the quantum-reduced model from the perspective of full loop quantum gravity.

Loop Quantum Gravity and Quantum Information

open access: yes, 2023
We summarize recent developments at the interface of quantum gravity and quantum information, and discuss applications to the quantum geometry of space in loop quantum gravity. In particular, we describe the notions of link entanglement, intertwiner entanglement, and boundary spin entanglement in a spin-network state.
