Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

On the effective action for scalars in a general manifold to any loop order
Functional methods and a derivative expansion are employed for laying out a procedure to compute the effective action to any loop order, for scalar fields parametrising an arbitrary Riemannian manifold, while maintaining explicit field-space covariance ...

L-infinity spaces and derived loop spaces
We develop further the approach to derived differential geometry introduced in Costello's work on the Witten genus. In particular, we introduce several new examples of L-infinity spaces, discuss vector bundles and shifted symplectic structures on L-infinity spaces, and examine in some detail the example of derived loop spaces.

Finite loop spaces are manifolds
The purpose of this work is to show the following result: Theorem: Let \(B\) be a CW-complex and denote by \(X\) the loops on \(B\), \(\Omega B\). If \(H_*(X)=\bigoplus _i H_i(X)\) is a finitely generated abelian group, then \(X\) is homotopy equivalent to a compact, smooth parallelizable manifold.

On loop spaces of configuration spaces [PDF]
This article gives an analysis of topological and homological properties for loop spaces of configuration spaces. The main topological results are given by certain choices of product decompositions of these spaces, as well as “twistings" between the factors.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Numerical integration of loop integrals through local cancellation of threshold singularities
We propose a new approach that allows for the separate numerical calculation of the real and imaginary parts of finite loop integrals. We find that at one-loop the real part is given by the Loop-Tree Duality integral supplemented with suitable ...

Quantization of Reissner-Nordstr\"{o}m Black Holes and Their Non-Singular Quantum Behavior
Quantization of different regions of the Reissner-Nordstr\"{o}m space time (charged black hole) is done in the framework of loop quantum gravity. The geometry of Reissner-Nordstr\"{o}m space-time is expressed in terms of Ashtekar variables which form the

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.
