By relying on the complete similarity of an accelerated coordinate system with a gravitational field, a simple accelerated loop-the-loop is described, by which a ball starting at the bottom rolls backward up over a loop and is caught at the top. Simple means of accelerating the apparatus suffice.

DNA looping is widely used in nature. It is well documented in the regulation of prokaryotic and eukaryotic gene expression, DNA replication, and site-specific DNA recombination. Undoubtedly looping also functions in other protein-DNA transactions such as repair and chromosome segregation.

Looping the Loop: The African Vector in Hispanic Transatlantic Studies
2019This article examines the presence and absence, visibility and invisibility, of Africa from formulations of the trans-Atlantic focused on Latin America and the Caribbean. It critiques a long naturalised Ibero-American loop that tends to sidestep triangular and rhizomatic configurations and argues, amongst other things, that Spain’s colonization of the ...

Energy considerations give an incorrect value for the minimum height from which a sphere may be released on the approach track of a loop-the-loop, assuming that the sphere rolls without slipping. Analytical and graphical methods are described for predicting whether the sphere will negotiate the top of the circular loop for arbitrary conditions of ...
