Effect of Rainfall Intensity and Stone Content on the Instability of Quaternary Deposits

open access: yes工程科学与技术, 2019
The geological processes, including earthquake, engineering excavation, weathering, erosion and transport caused a large number of loose accumulation bodies. The stone content in these loose accumulation bodies were different, and the instability induced

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Effect of Lower Body Compression Garments on Hemodynamics in Response to Running Session

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2014
Purpose. Compression garments are often worn during exercise and allegedly have ergogenic and/or physiological effects. In this study, we compared hemodynamics and running performance while wearing compression and loose-fit breeches. We hypothesized that

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Study on gas seepage characteristics of loose coal

open access: yesMeikuang Anquan
In order to study the influence of temperature on the gas seepage law in loose coal bodies in goaf, gas seepage characteristics experiments were conducted on three types of coal samples, namely anthracite, bituminous coal, and lignite, under different ...

Engineered extracellular vesicles enriched with the miR‐214/199a cluster enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy in ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Mathematical Simulation of Effect of 7 t Steel Ingot Shape Body Height on Solidification Process and Metallurgical Qulity

open access: yesTeshugang, 2018
The ingot shape has certain influence on the defects such as porosity and shrinkage in the solidification process of ingot. Based on body height 2 075 mm long and slim shape (B) and 1 885 mm short and thick shape ( A) two kinds of 7 t ingot, by casting ...

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.
