Clinical Case Reports, Volume 10, Issue 2, February 2022., 2022 In our case, coinfections in patients with COVID‐19 may be associated with mechanical ventilation. These may include antibiotic‐resistant bacteria, parasites, and fungi that led to rapid mortality. Microbiological surveillance is warranted. Abstract COVID‐19 patients are prone to coinfections during their hospitalization.
