Mass generation by a Lorentz-invariant gas of spacetime defects
We present a simple model of defects embedded in flat spacetime, where the model is designed to maintain Lorentz invariance over large length scales.

Abstract We provide a survey of the main mechanisms of market selection used in economics. We categorize existing theories into three broad classes—evolutionary selection, reduced form selection, and rational equilibrium—based on their adopted selection mechanisms.

Model-independent constraints on Lorentz invariance violation via the cosmographic approach
Since Lorentz invariance plays an important role in modern physics, it is of interest to test the possible Lorentz invariance violation (LIV). The time-lag (the arrival time delay between light curves in different energy bands) of Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs)

Abstract This study investigates the nonlinear Landau resonance and auroral acceleration processes of electrons driven by kinetic Alfvén waves (KAWs) in the Earth's magnetosphere. We analyze electron trajectories and parameters, such as kinetic energy, using test particle simulations, focusing on the transition between phase‐trapped and phase‐scattered

Lorentz Invariance Violation on UHECR propagation
In the present work possible consequences of the Lorentz symmetry breaking are presented. Those consequences are encoded through the modification of dispersion relations which are applied to the processes of pair and pion photo production generated at UHECR scale.

Status and prospects for CPT and Lorentz invariance violation searches in neutral meson mixing
An overview of current experimental bounds on CPT violation in neutral meson mixing is given. New values for the CPT asymmetry in the B0 and Bs0 systems are deduced from published BaBar, Belle and LHCb results.

Double Copy From Tensor Products of Metric BV■‐Algebras
Abstract Field theories with kinematic Lie algebras, such as field theories featuring color–kinematics duality, possess an underlying algebraic structure known as BV■‐algebra. If, additionally, matter fields are present, this structure is supplemented by a module for the BV■‐algebra.

An Algebraic Approach to Light–Matter Interactions
This is a review of an algebraic approach to light–matter interactions that is theoretically powerful and computationally friendly. Theoretical expressions can be developed and manipulated conveniently thanks to the generality of the basis on which the approach rests, and a compact notation.

An application of Lorentz-invariance violation in black hole thermodynamics
In this paper, we have applied the Lorentz-invariance violation (LIV) class of dispersion relations (DRs) with the dimensionless parameter $$\textit{n}=2$$ n=2 and the “sign of LIV” $$\eta _+ = 1$$ η+=1 , to a phenomenological study of the effect of ...
