MODIFIED MODULUS OF SMOOTHNESS AND APPROXIMATION IN WEIGHTED LORENTZ SPACES BY BOREL AND EULER MEANS
Using one-sided Steklov means, we introduce a new modulus of smoothness in weighted Lorentz spaces. The direct and inverse approximation theorem for this modulus of smoothness are proved.

The embedding theorems for anisotropic Nikol’skii-Besov spaces with generalized mixed smoothness [PDF]
The theory of embedding of spaces of differentiable functions studies the important relations of differential (smoothness) properties of functions in various metrics and has a wide application in the theory of boundary value problems of ...

Sequence Lorentz Spaces and Their Geometric Structure [PDF]
This article is dedicated to geometric structure of the Lorentz and Marcinkiewicz spaces in case of the pure atomic measure. We study complete criteria for order continuity, the Fatou property, strict monotonicity, and strict convexity in the sequence ...

Anisotropic Variable Hardy-Lorentz Spaces and Their Real Interpolation [PDF]
Let $p(\cdot):\ \mathbb R^n\to(0,\infty)$ be a variable exponent function satisfying the globally log-Holder continuous condition, $q\in(0,\infty]$ and $A$ be a general expansive matrix on $\mathbb{R}^n$.

The convolution in anisotropic Besov spaces
We study the boundedness of the convolution operator in Nikol’skii-Besov anisotropic spacesBαqpτ.These spaces are constructed on the basis of anisotropic Lorentz spacesLpτ, wherepиτare vectorparameters.

A Kind of Estimate of Difference Norms in Anisotropic Weighted Sobolev-Lorentz Spaces
We investigate the functions spaces on ℝn for which the generalized partial derivatives Dkrkf exist and belong to different Lorentz spaces Λpk,sk(w), where pk>1 and w is nonincreasing and satisfies some special conditions.

Abstract Lorentz spaces and Köthe duality [PDF]
Given a fully symmetric Banach function space $E$ and a decreasing positive weight $w$ on $I = (0, a)$, $0 < a \le \infty $, the generalized Lorentz space ${\Lambda}_{E,w}$ is defined as the symmetrization of the canonical copy $E_w$ of $E$ on the ...

The moduli space of isometry classes of globally hyperbolic spacetimes [PDF]
This is the last article in a series of three initiated by the second author. We elaborate on the concepts and theorems constructed in the previous articles. In particular, we prove that the GH and the GGH uniformities previously introduced on the moduli

Generalized Lorentz Spaces and Applications
We define and study the Lorentz spaces associated with the Dunkl operators on ℝd. Furthermore, we obtain the Strichartz estimates for the Dunkl-Schrödinger equations under the generalized Lorentz norms.
