ABSTRACT Objective Pediatric neuroprognostication is often complicated by uncertainty and embedded in high‐stakes medical decisions. For child neurology residents, participation in neuroprognostication can represent key learning experiences but also comes with emotional and ethical challenges, which poses a risk of moral distress.

Identification of a Functional CYP2C8 Variant Allele that Alters Splicing, Reduces Protein Expression, and Increases Drug Exposure

This study investigated genetic determinants of the pharmacokinetics of the CYP2C8 index drugs repaglinide and gemfibrozil, and their interaction in healthy participants. Sequencing data from a study with montelukast revealed a novel functional CYP2C8 allele (rs2071426, CYP2C8*19), predicted to create an intronic splice donor site.

Tracking Climate and Environmental Attention: A News‐Based Composite Index

ABSTRACT This study introduces the Climate and Environmental Attention Index, a composite indicator that tracks media attention to climate and environmental issues. Based on the Semantic Brand Score, the proposed index extracts significant signals from unstructured text, going beyond traditional measures of word frequency and sentiment.
