Probing the Curing Reaction of HTPB Propellant with Low-Field NMR

open access: yesAerospace
Hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) propellants are widely used in aerospace applications owing to their excellent mechanical performance and storage stability, which are primarily governed by the crosslinked network formed during curing ...

Solvent‐Mediated Reactivity Control of Lewis‐Paired Dopants as a Versatile Strategy for Tunable and Stable Doping of Organic Semiconductors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Solvent‐mediated reactivity control of Lewis‐paired dopants enables highly efficient, finely tunable, and stable doping of organic semiconductors. The optimally doped semiconductor films exhibit superior thermoelectric performance and doping stability, feature delocalized polarons along structurally ordered polymer backbones, and outperform ...

Expression screening, protein purification and NMR analysis of human protein domains for structural genomics

open access: yes, 2004
Structural genomics, the determination of protein structures on a genome-wide scale, is still in its infancy for eukaryotes due to the number and size of their genes.

Thermally Modulated Metasurface Sensor for Dynamic and Time‐Resolved Isolation of Extracellular Vesicles

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A thermally adaptive plasmonic metasurface, functionalized with poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) and anti‐CD63 antibodies, enables precise, on‐demand capture and release of extracellular vesicles (EVs). Delivering high recovery, improved purity, and intact vesicle structure, the platform offers a versatile, label‐free solution for real‐time EV ...

Bubble Formation Control: Fabrication of Centimeter‐Sized Tissue‐Like Constructs by Catalase‐Coated Oxygen‐Releasing Hydrogel

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Oxygen‐releasing hydrogels are widely used to support cell survival in 3D cultures and to promote wound healing. However, incorporating catalase to convert H2O2 into O2 often generates additional oxygen bubbles, leading to material instability which rarely addressed.

Overexpression and purification of the primase domain of bacteriophage P4 gp alpha for structure determination by NMR

open access: yes, 2003
Bacteriophage P4 is a temperate phage of E. coli and other Gram-negative prokaryotes. Its alpha gene encodes a 777-residue multifunctional protein, gpa, that is essential and sufficient for the initiation of P4 DNA replication.
